Entering his second season at Peru State College and first as the defensive coordinator, Coach Reed will also be heading the linebackers as well as special teams.
Coach Reed graduated from Peru State in 1986. He was a three-year starter and team captain in 1986. He served as a student coach working with the defensive line for the 'Cats in 1987. He is married to Nancy and has four children: Taylor, Ryan, Travis, and Caroline.

Derek Derr
Linebackers
Season at Peru: 2nd
Coach Derr graduated from Peru State in 2010. He was a three-year starter and a Dak-tronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete. In the offseason Derek plays linebacker for the Iowa Blackhawks of the American Professional Football League (APFL). He is presently teaching courses as well as assisting with the linebackers at PSC.
